The very first 24KT Gold and Swarovski cigar artwork was crafted in 2012 by Jan Vistisen, owner of the Royal Danish Cigar Company in Copenhagen, Denmark. To this day, each cigar is meticulously adorned by him and limited to only 10 cigars per day.

Queen’s Regal Blend received a remarkable rating of 91 in Cigar Journal in 2014. It is based on an original aristocratic formula dating 200 years to the time when the Danish West Indies were part of the Kingdom of Denmark. During this period, the King’s ships transported tobacco from the Caribbean to the Royalty. Over the course of 250 years of Danish rule, tobacco was cultivated, cured, and expertly rolled for the pleasure of the Danish aristocracy. Today, it is made available for cigar aficionados all around the world. When you enjoy one of our cigars, you are savoring a true masterpiece of art and a piece of Royal Danish history!

Facts & options
The creation of these jeweled cigars is a painstakingly time-consuming process. Each cigar is meticulously protected by cellophane and sealed with our embossed bronze wafers before they are photographed. Inside each box, you will find a numbered certificate. Based on the certificate number, it is always possible to trace and authenticate these copyrighted 24KT Gold & Swarovski cigars ©.
There are currently 4 boxes of 10 cigars available: Original White Swarovski since 2012, The Red Ruby Good Luck China Edition plus the Multi-colored Swarovski Limited Dubai Edition in a Skyline Hologram box. The fourth edition is the personalized wedding boxes with any 4-color print you choose for this special day. Our exquisite wedding cigar box is unique because it contains 5 of our dark wrapper cigars with White Swarovski and 5 mild-sweet, light-colored wrapper cigars with Red Rubies, similar to the Good Luck China edition. These light mild wrapper cigars are only available in our customized wedding boxes.

What about smoking the Gold & Swarovski?
One of the most frequently asked questions over the years is about how to smoke the Gold & Swarovski cigars. Firstly, it’s important to note that these cigars are designed to be smoked with the Swarovski crystals on them. They will simply drop off with the ash as you enjoy your smoke. Secondly, there’s a reason behind the way the gold artwork is applied to the cigar. It doesn’t cover more than 40-50% of the cigar’s surface. This is to ensure that the cigar doesn’t become too hot to hold, as gold conducts heat. By not covering the entire cigar with gold, heat can still escape, preventing the cigar from becoming hot and bitter. Additionally, tobacco burns between puffs at temperatures of 400-600 degrees Celsius, while gold melts at 1064 degrees Celsius (1943 Fahrenheit). So, the gold will simply rest on top of the ash until you tap it off. The Swarovski crystals are only mounted on the gold. Therefore the gold works as a fine membrane too.
Smoking time: Approx. 45 minutes, and the most beautiful cigar in the world is turned into ashes, but never forgotten.
Blend & flavour profile
These cigars feature XO Superior aged tobacco with a dark wrapper. The Regal blend is a well-guarded secret offering a complex yet well-balanced array of rich flavors. This is what Cigar Journal wrote in 2014: “This Belicoso starts off mildly, earthy and with citrus freshness. Then mocha, dark chocolate cedary-roasted aromas and some pepper are added. A complex blend, and full-bodied cigar” end of quote. However, the wedding boxes contain 5 White Swarovski dark wrapper cigars and 5 Red Ruby mild and sweet light wrapper cigars. These mild cigars have reduced nicotine content to ensure comfort for beginners or non-smokers who wish to partake in celebrating a festive wedding moment.
Shape, size and cut
The Belicoso Fino (also known as Torpedo or Pyramid) measures 5 inches by 54 ring gauge. The Belicoso shape was chosen for QUEEN’s #1 because it gives you control over how you want your cigar to taste. Depending on how far you or the cigar sommelier make the cut, you are offered a different flow of smoke. A high cut provides a more concise draw, while a cut a little lower gives a greater volume of smoke for each puff. It’s advisable to start with the smaller cut, as you can always trim more for a larger flow, but you can’t reduce the flow if you cut too much initially!
